Valentine’s day is right around the corner. It is a time to show your love and appreciation for those you care about. Every year on this day, many across the world celebrate this holiday by giving gifts to the loved ones in their life. Many of these gifts are special and very meaningful. Here at Olympia, our students shared both the special people and the meaningful gifts they would give this coming Valentine’s Day.

“For Valentine’s Day, I would get my mom flowers and a blanket with a picture of all of her kids,” freshman Destiny Fedrick stated.

“I would give a girl some roses, a pandora bracelet, and a little gift basket with stuff she likes,” sophomore Isaiah Thomas said.

“I would give my friend Aleeza some chocolate,” sophomore Anayah Barros said.

“I would give a friend of mine bath & body works,” freshman Aniyah Clark stated.

“I would give my girlfriend a gold custom necklace,” sophomore Robert Mazzella emphasized.

“My valentine is my boyfriend. In our relationship, I like to listen to what he has to say and what he likes. I listen and write it down in my notes so on special occasions like Valentine’s Day I can get his favorite things for him,” senior Teneil Williams expressed.

“For Valentine’s Day I would get Christina flowers, chocolate and some fragrances that she’d like. She is literally like my big sister I never had. I don’t know what I would do without her. She was one of my first friends here at Olympia High School and we’re still standing strong,” senior Jaiden Lewis emphasized.

“I am getting my friend flowers and her favorite chocolate,” junior Ramon Nunez said.

“I would get my sweet loving mother some of her favorite candies,” senior Dante Devine said.

“I am getting my mom roses for Valentine’s Day because she deserves them,” sophomore Amari Grant expressed.
