attention, while the dance team and band kept the festive atmosphere. This made the whole event feel more like a party rather than a regular school day.

“I liked how the school supported us when the football team came out.
You could tell there was real school spirit and showed that “OT” mentality,” senior Jacari Jackson shared.
Members of SGA, the Student Government Association, helped organize and host the pep rally keeping everything fun and running smoothly including the activities everyone got to participate in. Along with recognizing the athletes, the rally also shone a special spotlight on our senior class. They were honored for their leadership and the effort they’ve put into making the school better over the years. This was a sentimental moment that reminded our Class of 2026 that they are almost done with high school.
“I enjoyed how they had games and got us to mingle with each other,” senior Mia Shaw said. “It made everyone feel welcome and gave off good energy.”

One of the biggest highlights of the day was the band’s performance. Their sound filled the gym and had everyone dance or at least nod their heads along to the music. From the moment you walked in, you could feel the energy from their music and the excitement through the crowd.
By the end of the rally, the whole gym was filled with pride and smiles. Students were taking pictures and talking about their favorite parts of the rally.
Overall, the fall sports pep rally was a huge success. It brought students and staff together. It reminded everyone what OT pride is all about, and kicked off the new sports season with a good start.
