Baseball season is now upon us! The baseball team played a pre-season tournament at Timber Creek high school on 2/13 and 2/14. The Titans tied Timber creek 2-2 in a great game by both teams. Liam Furey12 was the starting pitcher for the Titans and pitched a great game. Mason Mojica12, Daniel Ortiz12, and Ethan Rathmann10  were the key hitters that day. Mojica and Ortiz had an RBI (run batted in) and Rathmann had 2 hits.

The Titans played Mount Dora High School the next day and won 7-3. The Olympia pitchers helped shut down Mount Dora’s offense, key pitchers were Jack Waller12, Trace Furniss11, Will Wankelman10, Brendan Furey9, and Ethan Rathmann10. The bats were hot, Mason Mojica12, Adonys Velez12, and Yamil Gonzales11  each had 2 RBI’s that led to a great win for the team.

The team looks great to start the year off, hopefully the team will carry this energy throughout the season.
