This past weekend your Titan Speech & Debate team competed in a national competition at the University of Central Florida. There were over 40 schools from around the country competing in this tournament and over 750 total competitors.
The competition was 12 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday.
At the end of the tournament, they add up all of the wins/losses and points for every competitor from every school to determine school totals and award an overall tournament school winner. For the first time in Olympia history… your Titans WON the FIRST PLACE team sweepstakes award for the most points of any school. This is an amazing showing for our students and a testament to their hard work, teamwork and talent.
