As we start this new year, the second semester of school begins. This is the part of the school year where our Titans get the opportunity to work for their final grades. A lot of students can fall behind the first semester, so to better organize themselves it is important to set goals and define expectations. If you create a goal for yourself and set expectations, you are more likely you’ll be successful in the end. Let’s take a look at some of the goals our Titans have set for themselves.
“This semester I want to make sure I get all A’s. Something I want to change this semester is not falling asleep in class and to stay focused,” expressed junior Chris Vega.
“My goal this semester is to show up to school and make sure I’m on time. Last semester I slept in a lot, but I want to make sure I go to bed on time, so I can be at school,” said junior Tyler Burdick
“This semester I want to keep up with my grades and to be a better student. I want to focus on being in class more rather than skipping or sleeping,” stated junior Andrea Corza.
“My goals for this semester are to get good grades, have more discipline, and stay focused during class. My biggest goal of all is to bring my GPA up,” expressed junior Kourtney Frederick.
“This semester, [I] want to pass my classes with flying colors. I want to make sure I stay awake and don’t fall asleep during class,” said sophomore Oliver Merveiloe.
“My biggest goal this semester is to graduate. Since this is my last semester of high school, I want to make sure I stay on top of my work because last semester I missed a lot of work,” stated senior Samone McKinley.
“I want to make sure I have good attendance this semester. I want to go to prom, so I will make sure I will keep up with my attendance,“ expressed senior Mitho Valentin.
“I want to make sure I get all A’s and pass all of my classes this semester. I want to end my junior year with amazing grades and attendance,” stated junior Kevin Adams.
We wish our Titans luck in this new semester, and can’t wait to see their achievements. Stay true to your goals Titans, and good luck!
