The parking lot is empty. Where have all of our Titans gone? While some students may be rushing home to catch some much needed Z’s. There are many who stay on campus to be a part of clubs, sports, and other extracurricular activities. But we still have a handful of students who would rather attend concerts, sporting events, and more often than not, Halloween Horror Nights. In Orlando Halloween Horror nights has become a fan favorite pastime for students. Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights offers a plethora of houses designed to cater to thrill seekers and adventure junkies.

Every August through November, you can expect to find senior Alexi Mulvihill roaming Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights with her friends. Just recently, she and her close friend Kennedy decided to brave one of the scariest houses ever built, the Terrifier House. Looking back, Mulvihill says, “even though there were a few moments where my heart was beating out of my chest, the experience was so worth it.” To Mulvihill, these little moments she gets to share with her friends and family mean the world to her. Although this is just one of the many ways students enjoy life off campus, others find different ways to stay entertained.
Senior Dante Jones enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, taking her on dates to the movies, Universal, and recently Homecoming. Embodying what it means to be high school sweethearts, he asked her out with a sign reading “You’re my person, will you be my date at HOMECOMING.” Leading to a night they’ll never forget. We wish these lovebirds the best.

Senior Jeryn James, spending time with family is a top priority, and it’s even better when she gets to spend it in Cancun, Mexico. While in Mexico she got to spend the afternoons on ATVs exploring scenic white sand beaches. By night, she was enjoying some of the delicious foods Cancun has to offer. As the day came to an end, it was time to say farewell to family and friends because the next day she would be in school working hard to maintain her 4.0 GPA.
Olympia’s students are not just academic overachievers on campus, but they are also amazing personalities off campus. Their ability to have a great time while still being able to uphold Olympias’ 97% graduation rate is an extremely impressive feat. Shout out to all the students who represent our Titan community so well!
