A new school year means new beginnings, memories, and friends. Joining clubs can be a great way for new experiences, while also opening various doors and opportunities. Club Rush makes joining clubs extremely easy and accessible during lunch periods; giving students the freedom and time to join or just hear about the various clubs offered at Olympia. From clubs focused on volunteering opportunities, to eye-catching extracurriculars for future college applications, students have so many ways to get involved and find a community centered around their interests.

Club Rush is of course an amazing new experience for freshmen, but extends to every other grade as well. The wide selection represents the various concepts and interests throughout each club. Of course, this leads to the question of which to pick, and why? 

“[My choice was] to embrace myself and heritage while surrounding myself with a community of the same culture,” in reference to Spanish Honor society, sophomore Thalia Gomez said.

Of course Club Rush is a yearly event, so each club has to set new goals for future club accomplishments. 

The Speech and Debate Club for the 2024-2025 school year want, “to create a more inclusive environment for our members and to grow our club even more, as well as more competitive success with our extremely intelligent and strong team,”  sophomore Regan Johns said.

Overall, this year is looking great for every club at Olympia with amazing existing members and leaders, there are so many more exciting things to come with clubs in the upcoming school year.
